Dr. Michael Platten will be presenting a paper titled;
“Simulation of Gear Whine Sidebands in an Automatic Transmission Including Manufacturing Variability”
This presentation provides an overview of the causes and effects of modulation sidebands in planetary gears and demonstrates the application of new simulation tools to predict sideband behaviour in an automatic transmission with more than 8 speeds.
Dr.-Ing. Maik Hoppert will be presenting a paper titled;
“Rear Axle Efficiency Optimisation”
This presentation highlights the direct impact Axels have on fuel economy within passenger cars and HDVs and develops an optimisation methodology to assess and improve axle efficiency.
