New User Training: Model Creation & Component Analysis

Tuesday, June 26, 2018

Venue: KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm
Location: SE-100 44, Stockholm Sweden

Learn the foundations of modelling and analysis in RomaxDESIGNER by joining our next basic training event taking place 26th – 28th June 2018 at the world renown KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm

Participants will learn the basic principles of model creation & component analysis. Once the training is complete, participants will be proficient in the modelling of simple gearboxes, the analysis of system deflections & misalignments, including housing influence, the design & rating of gears & bearings, the running of duty cycle based analysis and more.

What is on the agenda?

  • Introduction to RomaxDESIGNER and its user interface
  • Model both a one and two speed gearbox
  • Analyse system deflections & component misalignment to understand the influence on gear & bearing performance
  • Perform duty cycle analysis
  • Basic bearing and gear durability analysis
  • Model a perpendicular shaft system, including differential and bevel gears
  • Model a concept and detailed planetary system including FE carrier
  • Analyse the influence of housing flexibility
  • Interfacing RomaxDESIGNER with CAD using CAD Fusion

Cost:

The cost of the training will be €500, with all necessary hardware provided. A training license for a period of 1 month is also included in this cost, allowing the new user to carry on their training without using your current Romax license/s.
