Romax Technology showcase electro-mechanical solutions to better engineering via six global forums

Amongst the attendees will be new and existing software and services customers who have been enhancing their drivetrain design and development process with Romax Solutions. Whether this be creating efficiencies within the design process or increasing the longevity of the driveline, there are multi-facets that Romax have been able to provide through their combined engineering solutions.

This year, the companies theme for the Forums is one of holistic consideration within the design process across many industries but specifically, relating to the integration of electrical and mechanical engineering to enhance design processes for the Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicle and further technology enablement’s.

Romax Technology CEO, Andy Poon said ‘With the move towards electric vehicles brings challenges to the products that the automotive industry use, the tools used to design them and the manufacturing teams that build them. We provide the practical engineering capability as well as the latest software enhancements to streamline and optimise the design process. Knowing the intricacies between the electric motor and the engine is crucial in defining a solution that works Right First Time for manufacturers. By hosting our forums across six regions, we are able to spend time with our customers finding out first-hand about their issues, and how we can help to solve their driveline and transmission issues.’

The Romax Global Forums 2016, build on a legacy of previous successful Forums across the last three years which provide an opportunity for engineers of both electrical and mechanical disciplines to learn about eMotors, NVH, efficiency, bearings and Romax new Software tools via one and two day regional events. This year they will be taking place from July through to November in India, US, Germany, China, South Korea and Japan.

Already confirmed speakers include a keynote from the TU Darmstadt, InnoVision Engineering, JCB, PSA Peugeot-Citroen, VW, Politecnico di Torino, Volvo CE, American Axle & Manufacturing and many more coming on board.
