Dr. Xiaobing Hu

Chief Operating Officer

Xiaobing manages Romax’ global sales, marketing, engineering services delivery, customer support and financial & operational functions through a team of senior managers in each function/territory. He is responsible for driving Romax sales and profit as well as improving the global customer experience and building global strategic accounts. Since joining Romax in 2007,he has an excellent track record in efficient delivery in firstly the Global Drivetrain Business Unit and more recently the Asia Pacific Region. Before being promoted to COO, Xiaobing served as Chief Commercial Officer and held previous roles as VP Asia Pacific, Global Director for Drivetrain BU, Business Development Director for Wind BU, and Regional Director for China.

Christopher K. Baker, P.E.

Senior VP – Software Products

Chris Baker is the Senior Vice President, Software Products for Romax and leads product strategy, planning, and development in that capacity. Before assuming the product helm, he held the role of Vice President, Americas between January 2018 and June 2019 and led the revitalization of Romax’s business in that region; that business is familiar territory for Chris, as he played a pivotal role in building it when the Troy, MI office first was established in early 2007. Chris has extensive leadership experience in the global CAE and automotive markets, having also held senior business development, product management, and engineering roles at Mechanical Simulation, MSC Software, and Ford Motor Company. He is passionate about delivering solutions that are innovative, process-oriented, and fit for purpose, and constantly seeks to partner with other best-in-class software teams and thought leaders to deliver on Romax’s promise to its customers and the engineering world.
