Case study in Testing Support

Requirement: bearing test rig development

Services provided: test rig design for large size bearings, simulating behavior in turbine operation, study skidding characteristics of High-Speed Stage (HSS) bearings and monitor bearing degradation using vibration and temperature measurements. Results from the rig were successfully applied in R&D activities to assess influences on bearing performance.
