Promoting STEM Learning
Romax has been actively supporting STEM for eight years now, our involvement has included speaking at events and fairs on the importance of engineering in society and business. Demonstrating our software to school children to highlight the importance of science and maths and engineering in the world.
Several our employees are STEM Ambassadors, volunteers who bring a wide range of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related jobs and disciplines. We’ve also participated in activities such as providing careers Interview training for 6th form children and talking to school children about career options that involve engineering.
We believe it’s important to offer our time and passion to help bring STEM subjects to life and demonstrate the value of them in life and careers. Our organisation is unique in its skillset and we can offer a lot by sharing our experiences in STEM topics.
Romax Technology is a world-leading, award-winning, global organisation and our engineers are living proof that being able to work in an organisation that’s at the forefront of technology development and adoption has a major role to play in supporting the world’s biggest problem: climate change.
Engineering isn’t just a job, it’s about critical thinking, creating solutions, based on practical maths and science and is one of the most rewarding jobs you can hope to achieve, this is the message we leave with the young people we connect with.
