What is an Off-Highway Vehicle?

Off-highway vehicles are those built for use off the main highway, often on steep and uneven ground. This often refers to those used within the construction or agriculture industries, such as tractors and lift trucks etc. OHVs come in all shapes and sizes and can also include motorcycles, quads and some sports utility vehicles (SUVs).

Romax and off-highway vehicles:

As with other automotive vehicles OHVs rely on their gearboxes, drivetrains and bearings for reliable power and performance. Our consultancy expertise and suite of simulation software is as relevant for OHVs as it is in the regular automotive industry.
