EU Summit Preliminary Programme Announced

The Summit, which will take place on 16 and 17 October 2012, in Frankfurt, Germany focuses on the developments in simulation technology for the complete transmission – gearbox, bearing, driveline and all components. It offers engineers across multiple industry sectors, the opportunity to develop their understanding of the latest design by simulation methods, learn the many applications of RomaxDesigner and to meet and network with Romax technical experts and other users from the Romax software community.

What’s new for 2012?

Well, this year we will present several new topics including, introducing our new software release RomaxDesigner R15, a demonstration of our Concept Modelling tool, introducing Romax’s engineering process optimisation and control and our substantially improved gear design process.

Also featuring in our programme are the following topics: Efficiency, Design of Experiments and a master class session on RomaxDesigner tips & tricks.

Guest speakers

We will be lining up a selection of interesting and information guest presentations from Romax customers and software users in the European automotive and off-road industries. You’ll be able to see and hear how RomaxDesigner is implemented and used in practice by OEMs and suppliers across Europe and the benefits to their design process through implementation. Guest speakers will be announced in due course.

What else?

We’ve also scheduled training sessions for 18 and 19 October on a variety of topics including efficiency, NVH model building, NVH validation, durability and Design of Experiments. Find more information on our Summit programme page.

Finally, for all participants of the Summit, we’ve arrange a luxurious evening aboard a modern and stylish cruise boat to enjoy a wonderful cruise along the River Main – perfect for dinner, drinks and great networking opportunities.
