Shadow Transport Minister Selects Romax Technology for Meeting on UK Innovation
Established in 1989, Romax Technology is a leader in supplying innovative gearbox, bearing and drivetrain design and development solutions to the automotive, off-road/agricultural, wind energy and aerospace markets.
‘The heart of Romax is a creative, intelligent and innovative global team who develop industry-advancing solutions which result in faster time to market, enhanced product accuracy, reduced end-product warranty liability and reduced development costs while enabling a seamless workflow from concept to prototype.’ Said Dr Poon, CEO ‘We’re pleased to discuss our growth plans and key focus areas with the Shadow Transport Minister.’
Romax focuses on three clear end-goals for our customers – building and maintaining technology innovation, ensuring business processes and product development sustainability and helping businesses to reduce global CO2 levels through product design innovation. Romax has long established R&D relationships with government and academia pioneering new ways of optimizing drivetrain design.
Lilian Greenwood, Member of Parliament for Nottingham South, said: “Romax makes a substantial contribution to the local economy, and its emphasis on designing and marketing new products should be applauded. These are the jobs of the future and I look forward to seeing the company’s work for myself.”
Romax has had recent success with the latest round of 2012 RGF funding, being one of only a small number of companies in the East Midlands to have successfully received grant funding and is involved in key ETI projects at its locally based test facility.
The visit will highlight the latest in Romax’ developments and highlight its role in regional development as the company grows at an increasing rate over the coming years.
