JEC extends contract with Romax to provide key technical support to their wind farms
Romax Technology has signed a new contract with Jeju Energy Corporation (JEC) to provide key technical support, specialising in major failure management.
The renewed contract has been awarded in light of the recent success Romax had with previous projects for JEC. In 2014, a team of Romax experts were dispatched to the wind farm and were able to increase JEC’s annual capacity factor by 4%. The machine net-availability also increased by 10%. Following this success, Romax was selected as a contractor for key technical support for a second straight year.
Under the new contract, Romax will provide a range of services to sustain and improve the operations and maintenance of JEC’s wind farms. They will focus on trouble-shooting and the prevention of major failures.
Won Shin, Head of Engineering at Romax Asia, said:
“We have been awared the contract in recognition of our engineering know-how and experiences in many kinds of projects.
“We will do everything possible to ensure stable management and efficiency improvement of JEC wind farms.”
