Open Day at Romax Technology attracts huge interest

Last week, the Romax Headquarters in the University of Nottingham’s Innovation Park became a hive of activity as we welcomed prospective graduates and students to our open day. As part of Romax’ core values of innovation and talent, we host an annual event, opening our doors to showcase the business and career opportunities to future generations. This year was the biggest yet, as almost 100 individuals travelled from around the country from Bristol, Cambridge, Loughborough, Nottingham, Imperial, Lancaster and Manchester Universities, to take part in what was both an interactive and informative day.

Attendees had the chance to quiz our recent graduates on their time so far at Romax and talk to technical experts in all fields, experiencing an authentic view of the business.

Included within the day was a mixture of office tours, discussions with teams across the business, interviews for prospective joiners in addition to our skilled software developers showing an immersive virtual reality gearbox experience for attendees to delve into and an opportunity to play on our in-house flight simulator.

The aim of the day was to showcase the opportunities that Romax offers industry wide as a global leader in the electro-mechanical engineering design and drivetrain markets; and maintain the close ties that we have with Nottingham University and other leading institutions, which was certainly a success!
