Romax and SKF host successful eDSIM conference in Darmstadt, Germany
Romax Technology and SKF are proud to announce the success of the eDSIM conference, which took place on the 25th and 26th September in Darmstadt, Germany.
The eDSIM conference is an industry-wide platform where stakeholders, software providers, OEMs, suppliers, universities, and research institutes interested in the topic can exchange information on the simulation-led design of electrified drive trains and share views on emerging technologies.
With over 80 high profile attendees from 56 companies, both days saw packed agendas with fascinating keynote speakers, a range of technical presentations including those from Romax and SKF surrounding emerging technologies and electrification.
Attendee’s at eDSIM included those from the automotive, academic, bearing, industrial and off high way industries with the majority coming from an engineering background.
Feedback from our event indicated that it was a huge success, with comments such as it being a “great networking opportunity” and a “very professional set up”.
Speaking after the event, Thomas Helfrich from SKF’s Automotive Bearing Business Unit, commented, “The conference was an ideal forum to exchange expert level knowledge on relevant topics relating to electrified drivelines and Engineering 4.0. The wide variety of participants and presentations from industry and academia helped us to broaden our perspective on the opportunity that exists when it comes to simulating electrified powertrains.”
