Validation of Electro-Mechanical NVH Analysis with Test Data
Date: , 09:00 & 16:00 GMT
Presented by: Dr Rob Holehouse, Product Manager
Electric vehicle development is a fast moving and dynamic market sector with increasing challenges as more innovative products are designed. Integrated technologies, such as electrical machines coupled with gearboxes are capable of providing efficient and power dense traction solutions for EV drivelines. However, NVH still remains a significant challenge within the driveline design process.
Romax Technology employs a ‘system approach’ for NVH modelling which allows users to overcome these challenges and achieve seamless integration.
This webinar presented results of NVH testing from a recent publicly-funded project and demonstrated the correlation between test data and [Romax software] simulation of response due to motor and gear excitations.
Attendees will learn:
- Overview of EV drivetrain modelling in [Romax software]
- Correlation between NVH simulation and test data for a prototype EV drivetrain, considering both gear and motor excitations
- The importance of selecting appropriate model parameters and boundary conditions
The Romax product offering has evolved. Please visit our Software webpages to see our latest offerings.
